Brass Ceramic Stem Disc Cartridge Replacement for Bathroom and Kitchen Faucets

Addressing leaky or uncooperative taps can be easily remedied with one of these Replacement Cartridges. These ceramic faucet cartridges are suitable for replacing basin/sink faucets featuring a 20-spline broach, a 1/2'' Quarter Turn basin size valve, and a 20-tooth stem measuring 7.6mm in diameter. Included is a brass M4 screw, ensuring a high-quality, smoothly operating build.

You will receive a pair of valves - one clockwise and one anti-clockwise - to repair a single set of taps, accommodating both cold (blue rubber) and hot water. Constructed from ceramics and brass, the cartridges weigh 130G and measure 53mm in length, with a 7.6mm diameter 20-gear stem.

Before ordering, it's essential to carefully check the existing valve stem to ensure the correct number of serrations, as well as the diameter size of the thread head, the presence or absence of a threaded collar, the thread size, the cartridge height, and the direction of the opening (clockwise or anti-clockwise).

To install the replacement cartridge, follow these steps: 1. Pry open the lid of the faucet handle with a knife. 2. Loosen the screw with a screwdriver. 3. Remove the screw. 4. Remove the faucet handle. 5. Unscrew the old cartridge with a wrench. 6. Remove the old faucet valve and install the replacement.

The replacement cartridge features a solid brass body and stem, with a 20-tooth spline (top of stem) for the handle, and a stem drilled with an M4 threaded hole, equipped with 2*4mm screws. The thread size is G 1/2" BSP, with a total height of 53mm, making it a universal size suitable for approximately 75% of taps.

A pair of stems is provided, one clockwise (blue) and one anti-clockwise (red), to facilitate turning the tap on. The cartridge also features a rubber O-ring at the bottom and a threaded collar, making it suitable for use in bathroom, kitchen, and other basin taps, for both cold and hot water applications.
